Copyright Laws and the Reproduction of Art Works

The workshop will focus on the issues surrounding copyright laws as they relate to the publication of photographs of art works. It will clarify the legal aspects and responsibilities of archival institutions, and offer solutions to specific case studies. The final part of the workshop will be devoted to those select contemporary problems of photography and law which creators and users of photographic works must grapple with, for instance in the case when another’s work is included as part of your own.

Lecture by MgA. Mgr. Michal Adamovský, director of the non-profit organization Fair Art
